Our process & fees
CONSULTATION
We meet on location and discuss your requirements, while gaining knowledge of the site through soil assessment, maps and plans, etc. Photographs and measurements may be taken.
Please allow up to 2 hours.
Fee payable at time of consultation $175.
CONCEPT DESIGN
Either on site or at the Sunny Days office you will be presented with a rough sketched plan showing layout of hardscaping, pools, spas, turf, garden beds, alfresco areas, etc. This is the time for confirming the design layout.
Fee agreed at initial consultation and will be payable at time of concept meeting. This fee is refundable if final plan is commissioned.
FINAL PLAN
A detailed scaled design plan will be presented on site along with a written report and planting schedule. Individual plants and features will be listed on the plan and suppliers and installers will be recommended.
Fee agreed at concept design stage and will be payable on receipt of final plan.
INSTALLATION
All aspects of installation are offered including site clearance, soil preparation, planting, sourcing and supplying, paving, water features, lighting and mulching.
Cost is $65/hour for labour plus goods.
Retaining walls and larger construction work will be sub-contracted.
RETICULATION
Installation of water reticulation systems is $75/hour.
Please note:
Electricians and plumbers are also required for wiring and plumbing.
All goods remain the property of Sunny Days Garden Design until full payment is received on complete job.
MAINTENANCE
On-going maintenance and garden clean ups are available at $65/hour with a minimum 2 hours.
If the job is less than 2 hours, an additional call out fee of $75 applies.
MUD MAPS
Rough sketched mud maps and ideas are also available on request.
Fees will be discussed with designer on an individual basis.
ON THE SPOT ADVICE
Available for those in a hurry or wanting a DIY service.
Fees range between $300-$600 payable on the day + $75 booking fee payable prior to appointment.
